Classic Garlic Bread

  • 1 stick unsalted Butter
  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil
  • 3-4 Garlic cloves
  • (optional) large handful Parsley
  • 1 Baguette
  • Salt
  • Parmesan


  1. Preheat oven to 430 degrees
  2. Press garlic and chop parsley
  3. Slice baguette in half lengthwise and place on a foil-lined baking sheet
  4. Heat butter and oil in a pan until butter begins to melt
  5. Add garlic and parsley for 2 minutes (don’t let the butter brown)
  6. Brush the cut sides with butter mixture
  7. Slice into 1″ pieces, but not all the way through
  8. Top with salt and parmesan
  9. Bake until golden, 10 minutes
