Homemade Salsa


  • 1 Jalapeno
  • 1 Serrano
  • 1 White Pepper
  • 1 Habanero
  • 6 Garlic cloves
  • 1 bunch Cilantro
  • 1/2 Onion
  • 1 (30 oz) can Whole Tomatoes
  • 2 Roma Tomatoes
  • Salt
  • Olive Oil
  • (optional) 1/4-1/2 t sugar
  • (optional) 1/4-1/2 t cumin


Tip: Make in big batches and store in fridge (gets better/spicier with time). Spice level 1 (medium), don’t use habanero and remove all membranes/seeds. Spice level 2 (hot), use all peppers and remove most membranes/seeds.

  1. Chop peppers (helps to use gloves)
  2. Drain some/all diced tomato liquid (more/less liquid in final product)
  3. Place all ingredients in a blender and pulse to your liking
