  • 1 1/4 lb Bok Choy
  • 1 T Fish Sauce
  • 1 T Honey
  • 1 T Sesame Oil
  • 1 T Cornstarch
  • 2 T Olive Oil
  • Salt
  • 10 Scallions
  • 5 Garlic cloves
  • 2 T ground Ginger

Tip: Make sauce ahead.

  1. Combine fish sauce, honey, sesame oil and cornstarch in a small bowl (should be a little thick)
  2. Slice the bottom inch off bok choy and then slice lengthwise once or twice
    1. If using big leaves, chop into horizontal thirds, then strips
  3. Chop garlic and scallions
  4. Heat oil in a pan
  5. Add bok choy and salt until slightly wilted (a few minutes)
    1. If using big leaves, cook the stems a few minutes before adding the leaves
    2. Pack the pan full because the bock choy will shrink a lot
  6. Add scallions, ginger and garlic until fragrant, about 2 minutes
  7. Stir in sauce and mix until thickened
